Since the beginning of the war, thousands of cars have set out to the front lines to help our army remain mobile and inconspicuous to the enemy. Cars at the front are primarily used to improve mobility rather than for combat missions. They allow soldiers to quickly change positions, evacuate the wounded, and make trips to cities for necessities without revealing their positions to the enemy.
The need for cars on the front line is always present, as they often break down and can come under fire. In addition, even ordinary cars can be equipped and converted into combat vehicles. For example, Ukrainian soldiers install “Grad” launchers and anti-aircraft machine guns on pickups, making them one of the most popular vehicles for the army. However, on the front lines, the most important thing is to have a reliable vehicle with good off-road capabilities, such as jeeps, as soldiers have to overcome difficult terrain where not every car can pass.
We were contacted by a request from the military of one of the units of Special Operations Forces (SOF) for assistance in purchasing such a vehicle.
